The end of the world is getting closer....

So, is the end of the world coming, or what? What will you do on December 21? The Mayans thought this was the end of something. End of an era, end of time? Or did they just get tired of making calendars and run out of paper?:D

and then they raise our taxes for it.

A few things ARE certain. It WILL be the end of something, and the beginning of something. It will be the end of the suns procession and the beginning of a new one. It will also be like moving from one hemisphere on earth to another many think. This is the speculation in regard to everything from the magnetic field shift, to the rays of god particles. It is also a point on a scale where knowledge has been increasing exponentially in relation to time, and reaches zero point, or infinite point. It will be a point where the scale is thrown out. Knowledge will for the first time, either be absolutely retarded, slowed, or regress in relation to time, or it will be doubling inside of a second.

It's something that has happened many times before, the procession, but the Mayans did not know something that we know, and that is that the planet is old (the world did not begin when the sky Gods seeded the earth with the Mayans), and that people have been around for the last handful of this event. We know something else that they did not, and that is that superstition and life are two separate unrelated things.

They knew the layout of the sky very well. They just did not know what is was, (Giant balls of burning gases, not Gods). For such a meeting of Gods would be something to fear, and a hard act to follow. You might not make plans for tomorrow if God showed up today. Not to mention putting marks on your calendar for the 25, if you expected God on the 21st.

One more thing is certain. What ever happens, even if it is nothing, it is going to be a hell of a day. I hope all people can keep their wits.

While I will agree that there will be several changes as the new era approaches, nothing will be more evident than the energetic shifts.  The planet (Earth) is a living being, includes that of a energy field (like humans, animals, and every other living thing upon the planet) and with every living being there are changes that one must go through.  Even though some of these changes may not be physical, it is understandable that they are energetic.  For instance:  you will feel a cold coming on serveral days before it hits your physical body because you feel it coming in through your energy fields (or aura) first.  It must pass through the spiritual, mental, and emotional fields before settling into the physical body.   For as long as something takes to move into the physical body, is al long as it takes to leave that same body.  This is why it is said that a cold is: 3 days coming, 3 days staying, and 3 days leaving.  
 
With all that said, I believe that December 21, 2012 (besides being Kiefer Sutherland's birthday) is going to be just another day...not the end of the world.  The energy of the planet is going to being to shift in order to prepare itself for, what will be the end of humanity on earth sometime in the year 3797ish.  This number comes from predictions of Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others (those of whom I don't recall names at this time), BUT the world is not ending, it is merely changing.  We will still be here on 12/22/12!

But no, not yet ... like Rukia said, I'm quite sure that we'll all be here to see Christmas 2012, and we'll have to endure 2013 as things continue in the Obama era.

Indeed, I'll have to find out if I even have a JOB after the 1st of the year! Stay tuned on THAT one!

I think that change is definitely happening, though I also think that change is always happening, and if you don't notice it and life is stagnant, then the problem is in your perception and the world is passing you by. We naturally get into repeating patterns and look for what's familiar to makes sense of things, but that's not reality.

Maybe change is happening faster, though I don't think it's an end or a beginning. It's just the ebb and flow of the universe. If it happens, it happens, but I'm not going to prepare for it. Reality is in front of me right here, right now.

As far as succession goes, look at it this way. The NWO has long wanted the US as commies. If that was the main goal here (and I believe Oba*a is a puppet here, not that he doesn't want this to happen) what a better way to divide/split the country? Again, he's not calling the shots, the NWO is. But the end result is a much weaker country. (nwo= Ne w Worl d Or der).

I have no problem with smoking up, although the two times I tried it, it did nothing to me. I know, maybe it was weak, well, it did get everyone ELSE messed up!! So it's not really attractive to me, I'd rather get drunk.:rolleyes: I knew many RESPONSIBLE users as a kid- many friends and professional people, a couple I knew were airline pilots (yes, I had grownup friends as a kid). One question that hasn't come up yet, and I'm really surprised it hasnt. What about drug testing? If it's legal to use, can you be fired for it on your own time? As a truck Driver I can't drink within 24 hours of driving and my bac has to be .00 , Federal Law. That being said if have more than 24 hours before work I can drink. So how would this work for smoking?

I also possess a CDL license and for us the laws are MUCH tougher if we get  caught while
 'under any influence' of ANY drug including booze so I stopped drinking last year
(mainly in support of my gal who now has Cirrhosis of her liver and had to quit drinking)
as for pot that too takes about one month to get out of your system
so I can't touch that for fear of flunking a drug test for a job  somewhere
and god forbid I flunk one designated for a driving job it goes into the National Drivers Registry
then I must attend a drug rehab for ten months, pay a 2 thousand dollar fine
and of course I lose my CDL endorsement FOREVER so smoking pot ain't worth it to me
 but if  it were made legal then  how would  it be regulated?
 How would the police be able to tell exactly when  you smoked that doobie and how messed up are you?
or would it only be for home use and if you are caught out in public
while high you could be ticketed or jailed just like public intoxication is against the  law now

I'm sure driving jobs would still have the same standards, though for other jobs it may be illegal to test for pot if it's legal. Don't show up for work red-eyed and reekin' and I'm sure no one would care. As far as police and getting pulled over, I'm sure it would be the same: if they suspect you've been smoking and have probably cause, you're going to get searched. If they can smell it on you and you have red eyes, you can get a DUI charge. This happens now. You have to be responsible. I don't think much would change as far as society goes, except it will be a bit more free for some individuals.

Being responsible doesn't matter anymore. The gov't feels as though they have to be responsible for us. That's why I left driving, I felt as if I had a bullseye on my back every day.
