Bank Shot - Gottlieb 1976

http://roguepinball.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=577Bank Shot was released in March 1976 and was designed by Ed Krynski with art by Gordon Morison. Only 730 Bank Shot games were produced. I normally don't do Add-A-Ball games, as they are artifacts of the legal prohibition of replay games in various state at various times. However, this game is special, as it is the game on which "the shot that saved pinball" was made. In 1976 there were discussions about making all pinball illegal, and in New York, Roger Sharpe was testifying that they were really games of skill, not gambling machines the player had little influence over the outcome of.  As the story goes, Roger had practiced on the game El Dorado to demonstrate this to the authorities, but without letting him know, when he showed up for the demonstration they switched out the game to Bank Shot. He made the shot asked for, and they dropped the thought of outlawing pinball.  I've included a photo of Roger making that shot in the release file.
