VP Update Revision 434
« on: February 01, 2013, 03:40:14 AM »
Here's the latest VP version Revision 434 from Koadic. He says it's likely to become 9.1.5.  Specifically I'm not sure what's improved/different, but as I understand some of the newer vp9's coming out need the newer version (above 9.1.2.). He asked that I not share the dropbox link, but sharing the file was ok, so here it is. This is just the .exe, I would use the full install, then replace the .exe with this.

Do you need a later version, to see larger images in tables ?
I have VP 9.1.4, & images larger than 1024 don't show

Keep 9.14. I've had numerous issues with revision 434. I'm going to take it down and replace it with 9.1.4 when I get time.

The 1024 size is what VP re-sizes the picture to. You can always go higher, but you may get the dreaded "offscreen surface" error. If that happens go down a notch. This option makes previously unplayable tables playable.

I downloaded Rosve's lights demo, no onscreen PF images showed
till I exported images & downsized from 2048 to 1024
Thinking I might be missing some features & need to do full install

That sounds about right. You'll get weird stuff if your images are set too high and your computer/graphics card can't handle it. If you do the full install, everything will open in vp9.
