I have sent Paul 2 and destruk 2 e-mails regarding my work that is up at VPF in the last week, so I find this subject very interesting. I did not upload the Phantom of the Opera to VPF, destruk did, and he upladed Mr. & Mrs. PAC-MAN as well. I lost my hard-drive in an accident and I don't even have a copy of my old POTO table myself. The first e-mail was kind and explained this, and did not demand it be taken down, though it has been made clear that I do not condone the uploading of other peoples work without their permission. I told him he could give me access to it, either there at VPF, or he could upload it to another site. Otherwise he could take it down. It remains there to this hour.
He had promised to take them down when he banned me, and they were down for a while, but they are all up now. 3 versions of MMPAC and 1 POTO.
His printed terms says he has the right to upload re-creations, but the terms came well after the initial uploads which included my work, and regardless of that, you can not make law by printing that you have rights that you don't. Ethics is the base, not law, but it is, at least was, before vpforums.org, community ethics, and, the ones doing it now were vocally against this behavior before they became the hub of the behavior. My work was not even uploaded in my name, It states 'by destruk'.
For Paul to accuse anyone of stealing is silly.
