Now hosting Mediapacks and Wheels!
« on: December 27, 2013, 08:46:40 PM »
Something I totally missed is having Mediapacks and Wheels section in Downloads. Now we have a special section for both in downloads!

You only need to be a member, no special permission is needed to upload anything here. I do need to hit the "approve" button, but that's not by choice. There's no way to turn that off. So if I've missed something, please pm me.

Tim,

You might to check that section on the site! I cannot even edit or anything in that area and I TRIED to put up a Bally logo wheel for everyone.

Don't know what's wrong or how to even place an image into the post.

No, here's how you do it.

Start a topic with the name of the wheel.
Put the wheel in the thread as an attachment.

You then search for the wheel by topic name, and download it from the thread.

The reason I did it this way is we don't have the full downloads package. We can't put images in downloads. Tables are one thing- we can use an imagehost. I also didn't want any replies bumping it to the top as a new wheel, so I disabled replies in that area. Not sure if I disabled editing or not. I'll have to check.

I gather TinyPic would be of great use here. I didn't know how it was done Tim. I tried to figure it out but I'll try again once you get the area fixed up

I used TinyPic and it just brings up an image. I tried. Anyway, I can't delete the last post for the Bally logo. Have no idea what is up with that otherwise I would have deleted it.

It's not a problem. Put it up again and I'll delete the old one.

Also, there are 3 imagehosts listed on the front page on the left side, above "Who's Online".

I can't afford the full downloads package, but honestly- it doesn't look all that great other than being able to add images. I wish I could write it from scratch, but I'm not that good.
