A bunch of random questions
« on: January 11, 2014, 02:06:24 PM »
I have a bunch of random questions and some would fit better in other topics, but some wouldn't. So I decided to post all of them here. How many people download a table if it's good? If it's less than 100, you can probably ignore the next question. How do you feel about adf.ly? Not forcing people to with that choice only of course, but also providing a direct link.
Another question is who here has built a real pinball table? Are there any good videos to learn how to make them? I heard that https://www.marcospecialties.com/ is a good place to get parts; is that true?
Thank you for your patience and have a nice day :)

Not a problem.

How many download a table isn't important. adf.ly I know nothing about. I'm not sure what you mean.

Rosve at vpu has made a real machine (original) from the ground up.

Many people use Marcos Specialties. I haven't myself, but they are a favorite of many people.

I forget the name of his machine, but he was nice enough to make the vp version of his real table. It's here somewhere.....

Here is a video of my Gyruss pinball machine (the aspect ratio of the video is a bit strange, don't know why)

to me it matters not the amount of people who download my tables
I make 'em for me mostly then if someone else likes it well that's okay by me
of course we all want all our tables to have huge amounts of downloads
but I realize not every pin is for every person take a look at my Klingon pin over at vpf
the downloads are under thirty but I still had lots of fun making it and will continue to make pins
whether or not anyone else downloads them!!
I only did one on a request and that was the Brooklyn table
for another pinner's brother who is bedridden with a perm back injury
other than that though the rest were my own ideas and the heck with the amount of downloads
they have gotten I loved making them and that is what counts in my book
I am never wrong Once I thought I was
 but I was merely mistaken
