Congrats to Osprey ... it is now legal to smoke marwanna in his state of OR.
It's interesting to note that the other state to legalize pot was Washington DC. The polls were something like 66% in favor, with 33% opposed. It's rather amusing to think of our nation's leaders now lighting up on them "funny cigarettes". It'll be interesting to see what happens next.
As for good ol' bone-dry, hypocratic, idiosyncratic New England goes ... hopefully MA will be one of the next states to legalize pot, as I may be venturing up that way in the next few months. But I'm not holding my breath. RI has people there lobbying for ja ganja, too ... but again, there are too many stuck up conservatives-when-it's-in-their-interest types to allow that any time soon. I'd bet on MA before RI.
