https://roguepinball.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=701Gottlieb's Whirl-Wind was released in December 1957.  Whirl-Wind was designed by Wayne Neyens with art by Roy Parker. 1,100 units were produced so this game is relatively rare to find today. 1957 was the year of the roto-target for Gottlieb.  Nearly all of its games that year had one, and many were not truly great games. While this game has the nearly standard center of the game roto-target that often limited the game play on many of these roto-target games, Whirl-Wind is better than most since winning play can be achieved in multiple ways and the upper part of the field can be sustained in a way many of this era's games cannot provide. The shooter at the bottom center adds an interesting strategic element, especially given the varying target multiplier.  I had begun this game several years ago, and had it largely working according to the schematic, but it lay dormant when I couldn't confirm the order of the targets on the roto-target wheel (which matters a lot in this game). I want to thank Scorpion on roguepinball.com who loved this game in real life many years ago.  He really wanted to see it in VP, and obtained good photos of the wheel which he sent to me so I could complete it.  Thank you!
