Title: My next table isn't a table at all...
Post by: Itchigo on June 22, 2015, 11:21:10 AM
After getting slowed down by life in general, I have decided what I want to do next. Gremlin Playball. For those of you who have never heard of it, it's a wall game that you would walk up the to game, put your money in, and take the transmitter back to your table to play. Made in the early 70's, it was an integrated circuit game (no rom), one of the first like this. They made several "versions" of this, so if I make one, the logic should transfer over with minimal effort to the others. Shockman made Trapshoot (in downloads), and he did it well. But this would be a vp version for cabs, played on the backglass. Probably the first game for vp with no table objects, and completely played on the backglass. It'll be a blank vp game with just coding. These are special to me because my dad and I owned several of these when I was an operator.

Some of the other games made by Gremlin:
Trapshoot
Playball
Skeetshoot
All Star
Grand Slam

I can only find resources for Trapshoot and Playball, so if anyone has anything for the others, please PM me.
