Just For Today.
These three simple words are extremely empowering.
Just in the fact that the only mention of any time is the word TODAY.
Not tomorrow, not next week, not 20, 30, 50 years or even an eternity from now, but just for today.
Doesn't seem like too much of a problem does it? To just commit to something, only for today?
Yet, there are people who simply cannot be bothered to commit to anything just for today.
We're human. We're not perfect. The words Just For Today, means just that...Just For Today.
If we focus on just today, tomorrow doesn't seem so frightening.
Why am I bring this up? I have learned that TODAY is all we really have at any given time.
What happens when you do something everyday for a period of time?
It either becomes habit, or it becomes second nature to you.
So why not use the power of Just For Today to help you change something (or some things) in you?
I would like to begin posting some “Just For Today's” in order give my readers something meaningful to ponder over, but most importantly, something to apply to their daily lives.
I will begin with something easy:
Just for today... I will live the attitude of gratitude.
