http://roguepinball.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=564Derby Day was released in April 1956 and was designed by Wayne Neyens with art by Roy Parker.  1,600 Derby Day games were produced, so it is rare to find one today. Derby Day's horse racing theme is in keeping with the fact that the 1950's were when pinball was transitioning from gambling machines to skill machines.  You can see aspects of both in Derby Day (for example being able to win up to 12 replays in a single game).  It is said that when this game was in the field, onlookers would often lay bets on which horse would get the farthest in the next game to be played.
