Couldn't believe the CHEERS from the crowd when it was all done!
2013 MSU-Northern engine blow up (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pzN4YIwV2E#ws)

I believe it..... They love that stuff.

Oh yeah, here in Georgia those things are common... they're attracted to stuff like loud engines, explosions, gun shots, fire, tobacco, crappy beer, & their cousins. Put them all together at a party and it's a redneck paradise. It's guaranteed that at some point a can of spray paint will be thrown into a fire. :smileyfarting_fire:

Actually a closed 2liter bottle has the same effect....

What did that poor engine ever do to anyone? :devilish:
Actually, it reminded me of:
In Broad Daylight: (Film Starring Brian Dennehy) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfKBVD2CWLg#)
The fun starts at about 1:24:40, and lasts just over a minute. Enjoy.

Yeah.....your clip with the flames shooting out was more spectacular, but I think the rifle fire and the screaming wife made up for that. There are, however, some notes from the "Am I Nuts?" department:
The killing took place in 1981, the book about it published in '88, and (according to IMDB) the movie released on Feb 3, '91 on USA Cable TV---in a 90-minute timeslot. The running time, however, is shown as 95 minutes under the above video, which indicates some cutting and lets me know that no, I'm NOT nuts. My memory of the ending was a lone rifle being raised, one shot sending Dennehy's / Rowan's head to the steering wheel and his right foot to the floor, sealing the engine's doom, and the credits rolling as the crowd meandered away; As the last credit (epilogue?) faded out, the engine brought itself to an abrupt halt (internal distress, no doubt) and that was that. Watching again after over twenty years, I was surprised to see more than ten minutes remaining to be shown.
So yes, I dialed it up and watched it again.
I sure do feel sorry for that poor, innocent 454, though.
How about a peaceful beer?

I remember hearing somewhere that an automobile was the closest man will ever come to creating life. (Long time ago, and I don't remember where I heard it).

So, flooring an unloaded motor and letting it come apart at the seams is equivalent to letting one's kid eat at fast-food joints every day? (Heh heh heh)
