EDIT: The infection at Pinball Nirvana has been removed.
But if anything else pops up, post your experiences here.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hi folks.
Perhaps you know me. I used to hang out at Pinball Nirvana for many years,
but now PN has been HACKED and currently the source code HTML for the main front page of the Pinball Nirvana forum includes an IFrame entry which points to the click.daclick.org website (DON"T GO THERE!!!) which activates a .php file which within 10 seconds redirects the browser to an offsite according to the click.daclick .php file.
THIS IS NOT GOOD and until SOMEBODY at PN wakes up and removes it, I suggest staying out of there if you value your system.
The other problem is, when Google and other search engines get a load of that malware code in the page, they will drop PN from the search engine results, and block access in Google Chrome, or try to.
I have been trying to flag down the Admin with no luck at all, but if you are reading this, please note the attachment, a screen grab of the warning from my Google Chrome browser,
and I hope everything works out.

I just checked the site and didn't see anything nefarious. They must have cleared it up already.
-
That all depends on the forum. The PN front page is clean.
It's the forums home page that has the malware link.
Nope. I'm still getting the warning.
-
I've been getting warnings for months, I figured it was a browser thing. Usually returning to the home page. I did just have a crash today, but I think it's hardware and not software related.

Out of nothing I got e-mails with spam content from Rick2006 on 09. Novenber and yesterday. I was sure the e-mails are not posted by him. I know Rick from the old VPF and he's present in the pinball people gallery. I contacted him to find out what's wrong, but he has no clue. He says his e-mail provider is now investigating unusual email activity. I started to think about if the member database of PN was hacked and is now used.

the Yahoo accounts were hacked months ago
going by what the yahoo tech guys told me
if I don't change my password every few weeks
people I don't even know and who are NOT on my mailing list
start to get weird emailings from my account
about Canadian pharmacy sites
but I never had any type of problem with PN
and never saw any maliciousness over there!
I l use Firefox 15.1 with no problems

No real problem here as well as these e-mails are more or less easy to identify. I just wanted to report sleepy about possible problems.

I'm not getting those notices anymore from PN either. Faralos, I got an e mail from you, when I opened it Avast went nuts and said it blocked a trojan horse. It was from your real name, not Faralos. I deleted it. Not sure what happened.

Man, you just can't trust total strangers anymore.
It might not be them...

Intristing ... I don't have any notifications from PN ... but I can't access my personal info from PN either, at least not from the portal page.
Strange ...

Dan (wizards hat) just pmed me about odd links he was

I did change my yahoo password earlier today
they even made me get a phone code from them
just to get into my account so I know it got hacked yet again
just ignore any odd looking emails from me
as it's rare that I am gonna' email you with no warning or pm

What I would try (and I'm FAR from an expert) is ditch the Yahoo acct- close it. Open a Gmail acct instead.
(I'm not saying Gmail is any better, but maybe a different acct would help).

as sweet as that sounds I have w-a-y too many people and businesses
who know me by that account
it's okay I just must remember to change my password every three weeks or so
this time I forgot due to family issues and it got the better of me
by sending out a few spams to people who are on my mailing list (wizards hat being one of them)

just went on PN, and checked the forums..... logged on..... no warnings or errors at all. Everything is OK!
