Trade Winds Williams 1962 FS Direct B2shttp://roguepinball.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=375Trade Winds is the next in my series of recreating for myself the games I loved in High School and College in VP with a focus on making them play as much as possible like the real things. Trade winds was designed by Steve Kordek and released by Williams in June, 1962. 1,250 units were produced.
While Trade Winds was released when I was in High School (and not allowed to play pins) it was also in the first pinball parlor I played in when I went to college. So after watching this game be played by the "big boys" I could finally play it myself. It's a tough but fun game and nudging is a real plus. I've worked to make this VP version play as much as possible like I remember the real thing playing, and I'm pretty happy with the result given the challenges of getting good game play in VP. I had to split the scoring reels in the desktop version to make the backglass match the original but it didn't turn out as bad as I feared. As with all of my games, pressing the "R" key will give you the rules.
