Edit: I forgot to say what a great synopsis that was Dstott. (And I appreciate the post) :Green: Without posts it just makes me a filesharer.

Hello Itchago, I just purchased a VPCABS Vertigo. I played one at the Chicago Expo and liked it; actually more for the Arcade Games then the pins but liked the pins on it as well.
Is there something I should be concerned about with this purchase? Brad seems like a really great guy.
I'm pretty good with computers but never could see myself building a table although I would like too.
Is getting tables on these Machines a very long hard process?
Hoping I'm not getting in over my head. The deals done and they are building my cab, I'm a man of my word and will deal with what ever I have to; just hoping it's not going to be a complete nightmare to get it running.
And I will always be around the forums as I find it interesting!
Seems like there is some Disdain for VPCABS. As I said, Brad seems like a great guy to me! Hope I'm not wrong.
Thanks!

I was there too!! (BTW it's Brad, not Brian).
Brad IS a great guy, you are not wrong. Paul likes to say there are quality issues with Brad's cabs. There are NOT. Paul likes to say this because he's at his own site, and whatever he says the other members will go "yeah, what he said!!"
You shouldn't have anything to worry about with Brad. I did play the Vertigo too at the Expo, and the cabinet wasn't my cup of tea. But, that's only because I have a traditional pincab. Vertigo is better suited to video games (IMO). BUT, it will play both for a decent price. I guess I am more old school in that area. My pincab plays video games because I made a lockdown bar/control panel that plugs in and stores in the DMD area (my cab is 2 screen).
Once you get things setup, adding tables is no big deal. If you use Pinball X then just add the title to your xml file. Then add you tables, wheels, and whatever else. Getting things to your taste is another thing. But that I mean adjusting the angle you want, enabling analog plunger, and like that. Or, you can go to my downloads area. I share my cab with everyone here, free of charge (I am donation run). You only have to be a registered member to access Downloads/Itchy's cab. I have all my tables backed up to a filesharer, and I give everyone access. Tables, wheels, screenshots, etc. (As of right now I have 772 available tables). You do have to get them individually though, but there are no download limits.
Assuming you have VP installed, you only have to:
Add table to your xml file
Add table (named the same as the xml entry
Add playfield, backglass, wheels named the same as the xml.
When you're ready to make tables see my channel Itchigo699 on Youtube. I have a lot of tutorials. Also my table templates are the best thing going (vp9).

Hey buddy, Thank You very much for the reply and sorry for my late reply to you! I kept checking to see if I had any replies on the TapTalk Screen and nothing came up. Will have to check settings.
Anyway, cool that you were at the expo! And to be honest, I did buy the Vertigo for Arcade Games but still thought it played the Pins pretty good. I will probably it a VP Pin cab down the road. I actually have a Ghostbusters Pro Machine. I really want to get into the Virtual Pinball! You just made my day with your post!!! I will be checking out and signing up with your site and donating of course!!!
Yeah Brad not Brian; seems like a really nice guy and you just confirmed it! The only thing I am worried about now is whether the upgraded computer will handle all the tables.
Thanks again Itchigo!!!!
