Olympics
« on: December 14, 2012, 10:15:36 AM »
This is a never before in vp history table! It needs a playfield image though. Here's what I have. I actuall y have the table almost coded, but not built. The objects are there but I need to build around the playfield image. What I'm really most impressed with is my coding. 500 lines and 100 are from jp's plunger. The 9 lights in the middle aren't coded and I'm working on the animated targets. That's about it.

Curious as to why pf is off center & out of perspective,
was the pf image not squared up ?
Those '60s tables had lousy flippers too, eh ?

Bodydump at VPU did the redraw for me.  Out of this pic. The flippers are not correct. They are the stock vp flippers. I haven't changed them yet.

That pic came from the IPDB. I have no graphical skils above paint. :breakcomputer2:

I'm no graphics wiz' either ...
I know you'd have to move stuff around, but can you use the straightened pic?
I could straighten up that left side a bit more, but I guess you need it redrawn
as a stripped PF

I'm good thanks. Bodydump did this for me. Here's the B2s backglass I'm working on also.

I got the original pic somewhere, I don't remember, but it was good enough I thought to make a table. I had it saved for a long while. I don't know why it looked like that though.

I was just informed that this was done at IRP in 2002. So I guess it's not a premier. :sorry:

That's looking much tidier
Haha, the penny dropped with the off skew thing ...
Due to objects outside table - pushes table off centre

Oh, THAT'S what you mean, sorry . I can be either real smart, or real slow. In this case I think we know......
Yes, I made it with my template with comes with a bunch of pre-made objects on the side, which will push the table off center
