Update on my woodrail cab!

Itchigo:
My wonderful wiring....lol.

Never thought I'd use a 6 way plug, but put one in anyway (not UL approved (lol).

My plunger is fully functional. That plunger by the way is actually from a real 1950's machine (ebay 15.00)

Yes, I actually have a functioning quarter counter, not sure why, but it's cool. (3.75)

The ONLY hi def tv I own, and it's not for tv at all. (25 inch)

I'm really impressed with how the lockdown bar (locks down the glass) came out. It's made from a piece of 5$ moulding. Wood is NOT my thing, metal is.

Plunger needs to be rechromed as it's 60 years old, but it's coming along with the stained wood.

How it looks to play. Painted glass looks nice.

Front view (again) showing the wooden legs, coin door, and 1950's plunger.

faralos:
instead of rechroming the plunger can't you 'dremel' it with a wire brush to get it all nice and shiny?
chroming it is expensive
and nice 6way plug... my power strips in my home all look like that anyways!
I have two outlets with a power strip on each powering
two monitors, two towers, two desktop lamps,
a printer, my tv, the verizon boxtop set thingie
a boombox hooked through my stereo to play cassettes thru it
a dvd player, my stereo, an old vcr deck, the modem,
two sets of computer speakers (one for each tower since they share the desktop sitting side by side)
and last but not least my landline phone
wow I really do have them loaded up huh?
all that with no problems or power outages (yet anyhow)
problem with living in an  efficiency apartment is it only has four outlets one on each wall
so I must piggy back everything to get it all working!
so if I were you I would not worry too much about that 6 way plug device you got sitting in the cab!

Pinball Buzz:
Not sure if you can get this in USA, but a really good metal polisher for your plunger is Solvol or sometimes called Autosol try eBay. It will bring a shine back to most metals. Failing that try a polishing buffing wheel with a good quality compound. Nice cab BTW.  :D
Cheers Buzz

Pintrepid:
Nuthin' a good bottle o' Brasso will take care of. It'll clean your sinuses out really well, too!  ;D

Seriously, the cab's looking really good! I like the shot of it with Flash playing.
