Trapshoot
faralos:
damn but I do love Google! while libraries may be going the way of the Dodo bird
Google really is great for learning in a mouse click what may very well have taken half a day
at the library to look up
viktory2k1:
Wait a minute, I have been searching for an emulation of this game for years. This is the original Gremlin trapshoot? I gotta try it. WOW! I was getting close to looking for a real one on Ebay!
viktory2k1:
When you say it is not an emulation, does that mean it is just a pic of the screen? I downloaded it and it doesn't do anything, there was an emulation in progress a long time ago but never finished. How do I get this to work? Later, Vic
Itchigo:
This is a very good copy of the game. I used to operate the real one in the day. Shockman did an excellent job.
To play, drag it out of the zip filer and make sure it's unblocked. Doubleclick on it. same as vp, 5 adds coin, 1 starts, spacebar shoots, and escape closes. Won't work with Pinball X. Shockman redid the graphics, although I did talk to Lonnie Pogue who did the real graphics, he didn't have anything left from the day. Having played the real one I can tell you the only thing not perfect is the crowd sound on trophies. Just a little different is all, something only I would know. You never will.
And for the record if you read this, I was a part of the company, but before it was Tim Todd services. Before it was Tim Todd services, it was Movies and Games. We had a licensing issue with a jukebox and the village of Mount Prospect wanted a shitload of money. So my dad said fu, I'm bankrupt, and reorganized. Since the old president can't be the new president with a bankruptcy, he sold the company to me for 1$ and I was president and CEO of Tim Todd services until the period was over and I sold the company back to him. Then I went into trucking...
viktory2k1:
Wow, interesting story, I bet I could tell the crowd sound differences. So this is made to run with VP? Oh, I thought it was a stand alone thing. I will have to try on my pinball rig.
