Madness in VP9.1.2
faralos:
this tower I am currently using has 2 g ram with a radeon card
and can even handle a graphic rich program like Dream pinball with ease
but it still stutters with fading light vp pins and some of the newer hologram filled FP pins
go figure
GSGregg:
Just for clarification: The 1GB of ddr3 I mentioned is the HD4670's Vram. The tower's Ram is 2GB ddr3200 (400MHz) and the CPU is Celeron D-331@ 2.66GHz (133MHz x 20) on an SiS 661FX-M7 mobo.
No way to upgrade any one component (I tried with the HD4670 and look what it got me :Cussing: ) so here I sit procrastinating.
---IDEA---
Look up the procedure and stick CPU-Z in my Rogue sig.

See, there's your problem. My old server had a p4, and going to a full 1g from a 128 mb card, had no effect. The reason? The processor and memory can only handle so much from the card without slowing down. In other words, the graphics card can feed information to the processor faster than it can handle it. It sounds like that's the case with your setup. You can put whatever card you like in it, and it'll only go so fast. The only thing you can do is upgrade the motherboard and processor/ram.
I don't know what version I have on my cab, but when I built it, I OVER built it! I have a 1g ddr3 card but, I have an I-5 with 16g of ddr3 ram, so I can put any card I want in it. (I can support 32g ram, but it's overkill). :Content:

Think that's bad? I just got this today working on my laptop at work. Never seen this this bad. This wip doesn't even have any flashers or anything!!
GSGregg:
Maybe things are getting TOO primitive? :Green:
