Can roms be opened, read, and corrected?
GSGregg:
Scripting sounds like oh-so-much fun.....I tried to follow the script in Banjo Kazooie (which I lost in Feb 2011 when a bad memory DIMM scrambled my hard-drive, and I've neglected to re-obtain the table) to figure out why the awarding of replays was so irregular---you'd get whatever you earned in the first winning game, but none in any subsequent game. Closing and restarting solved it---until you 'hit' it, and then nothing again.
Anyway, what got me on this is the apparent failure of Twilight Zone to award multiple Powerfield Jackpots when scored in rapid succession (and sometimes even single jackpots). A ball being Magna-Flipped* out the top of the Powerfield ('Defeating the Power') hits 'Switch 75' and the ball falls to the lower level and lands in a 'Camera hole', awarding the Jackpot of 50 Million during the multiball called Powerball Mania. The animation/sound effects that this triggers last about 8 seconds, during which time a subsequent ball---or even two---can be driven out without any indication or acknowledgement. crash2013 may be a good enough player to not only accomplish this, but take the time to watch the DMD and see what gets credited; I, however, apparently am not.
