Frolics (BINGO), 1952 Bally for VP 9.2.1 r866 and higher
« on: February 13, 2014, 03:24:15 PM »
Coming soon. Stay tuned....

No pics yet. No spoilers for ANY of you  :Banghead: (not yet anyway).

Still have to clean up the BG (for a decal) and do the scripting. The rest is done.

UPDATE: ALL 3 liners, 4 liners and 5 liners have been implemented for all 6 cards.

Now to make the odds and randomization of coins for cards.

Don't have much left to do with the BG.

BG finished.

3 in line per card, one win per card 3 line implemented.

play coins OR credits from the EMReel on BG implemented.

4 in line wins implemented.

So far at 1,600 lines of code - not bad for the amount of cards and numbers.

PIC to come soon. Using the same table design as Broadway 1951by Bally.

TO ADD:

5 in line winners. Most code is done.

ODDS - for coins/winnings for amount of coins/winnings used. It also involves amount of cards per coin are lit; can be 1 through 6 cards on a single coin or 1 card per coin. Need to add rollovers odds. Need to add super score odds. Need to add extra ball odds.

Seems like a lot of work but it isn't.

Not much left.

Need to implement the odds of the extra balls. Also the light mechanisms.

Need to add the odds and workings for the two rollovers. This normally happens at ball 5.

Need to implement the "Super Score Guaranteed" for next game.

Need to finish up the odds for the super scores as player adds coins - player first deposits coin. That single coin could light up 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or ALL 6 cards. After the 6 cards have been lit using those random odds, then lights each "super scores" light as each coin is deposited/replay used is above each card. A coin or replay must be deposited/used for each super score you wish to have on each card. As each card is bought, odds can go up but NOT down, making 3 line payouts/replays go from 3 (starting replays if made/no super score lit), 4, 6, 8, 12 and finally 16 if you're lucky. Same goes for 4 line and 5 line payouts - as you progress the odds, the higher the replays/payouts, but you'll have to add coins to increase those odds OR use the credits you won from previous games and lines.

With thorough testing, I have gotten ALL 6 cards to light under a single coin. I've also been able to get one card per coin, one coin by one coin. Then I've gotten one card then three cards with the next coin. Interesting randomization.

So far, the game is running very smooth and I am now UNDER 1,600 lines of code.

The game has over 150 lights, so it takes a good 20 seconds or so to load on slower systems but it's worth the wait; I've never had so much fun!  :Yahoo:

Left to implement: Fix the extra balls odds and extra balls lighting.

Then the full playtest phase. That's it.

 :Whiteflag:

PS: There are MORE bingos coming........stay tuned.........

Currently going through the 2nd stage of playtesting. So far so good.

Almost forgot; have to add some posts over the lights on the stars. That's about it. I'm always finding something to fix - game runs smooth as silk.

The emreel BELOW the backglass is for coins used per game. The less you use, the better. Just a nifty little thing I thought that would be nice to have during gameplay. After a new game is played, this resets.

You're gonna have one hell of a time. Over 150 lights and MANY decals. The script right now is at 1,776 lines and it seems to work just fine, but I have found a few snags to fix.

If you do convert it, I would like to see a pic and see a MOV/MP4 file of it running on your system.

I think I will try my hand at converting this table along with Broadway 51.

Only two lights need to be fixed and this one is completely finished - it runs GREAT.

I even redrew the numbers and the "SUPER SCORE" lights so you can see them VERY CLEARLY during gameplay.

I made a separate rules text file for those folks who don't understand bingos to go along with it; this game is really out there - it's so damned randomized it's amazing.

Will have the VP file, the rules text file and the flyer in a zip soon.

Here's my suggestion. Start with this, I made these as simple as possible.

FS Conversion

Then look for Directb2s videos.
