The Happy Birthday Thread

yogiholzer:
Dear friends,

thanks for the birthday greetings.

Sometimes, but not often, I overfly (read) the news here and at the other sites without to log in and I don't find a real reason to log in and to post.
I'm fine, but pinball still isn't on my list again now since ... years. I'm sorry. I had the intention to revive the interests, but somehow it didn't work.
I'm still a little curious about if my Intel NUC would play the tables.

My English language knowledge didn't improve in the meantime. No use since my pinball forums retirement.

However, I didn't want to notice the greetings without reply. All the best to you and don't hesitate to contact me for whatever reason,

yogi

Glad to see you're doing ok Yogi!. Thanks for stopping by. :Hi:

I don't see why your Intel NEC wouldn't run at least vp9 on your tv. (I'd never seen them before, and Googled it).

yogiholzer:
I use the Intel NUC as desktop replacement. It's this variant:
https://www.intel.de/content/www/de/de/products/boards-kits/nuc/kits/nuc5i5ryh.html
I don't use it for playing PC games, as I don't play any video games at all anymore.
Some light games were no problem, I guess, but graphic intensive ones wouldn't work well,
as the inbuilt graphic solution is only Intel HD Graphics 6000. I think most VP/VPM tables
would work more or less ok. But I still don't feel the wish to play any. Some time ago I tested
the free version of Asphalt 8: Airborne and that worked well, so system performance isn't too
bad.
