Yes it's coming to the Rogue. I've been in touch with Shiva and he not only gave me permission, he gave me the original prototype backglass for it.

Test 2 with new images (enhanced).

Wow, that table still looked good to spite it's age, but that update has that table looking awesome! No one will ever believe that is not a commercial table!
Shiva is a freaking genius!!!!!!!! What other Treasures does he have laying around in the VP attic?
-
HOLY SHIT! I bet you and shiva have been having fun huh? An updated desktop version should be done as well.
-
The updated version won't have any changes to it. You don't mess with perfection. It will have higher res images in it, and that's it. Same with the cabinet version. But the thing is, no 2 screen version exists publicly of this. So by virtue of that it's more a treat for cab people.

Way to go, Itch! A Rogue Exclusive! ™ :Green:
Guess I might have to pull my XP desktop back out of retirement and set up FS again. Trigon w/a Backglass ... "Trigon LIVES!!!" WHA HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! :Excellent:

any update on this?

Sorry for the holdup, I realize I brought this on myself... :Whiteflag:
I got tied up with other things, then I had a few DB2s issues (bugs in program), then I had to get ready for Tam's party- all while looking for another job.
I'll take this to work Friday and see what I can do. I believe I had a backglass ready to go, but the calls weren't working. They were with my first "test", and even with identical names, only the first "test" version works correctly.
Hey, unless there's any jobs available at Randrcomputers.com ? :Green:
-
actually yes looking to hire as 2 service people quit but we are local twin cities field service. you would need to relocate :)
-
Looking forward to this table

When I get my weekend (Tuesday), and hopefully my new job, I'll work more on this. I cant do this from work because I need my cab to test things.
I'm working at work on 2 of Greywolf's, and I have to say Shiva's code is WAY easier to understand...
-
any news on release for full screen?
-
I'm having problems with the backglass calls. Sorry, I realized I hyped it up a bit, but I did ask for help at VPU, but... Even Wildman didn't want to touch it. He's only the master when it's rom controlled.
Trigon has 3 external scripts which total about 5,000 lines of code. My normal method doesn't seem to be totally effective, and I never got back to it. I did PM a friend here, but I'll go back to look at it right now.
Most of it is working. Score, credits, etc. But there are some bugs and there's no gi routine.
-
Heh ... was just thinking of Trigon! I'm gonna HAVE to get my FS B2S setup going again. Make my XP box useful.
Hmmm ... complex. I like to put my tables in separate folders within the Tables folder, just to keep them organized: Tables\VP8\Recreations, Tables\VP9\Originals, etc. But there are some tables that are so literally scripted that they can ONLY run in the Tables folder. Trigon is one of them.
Seems Shiva had a script for everything. There are at least 2 or 3 separate script files that one needs to run his tables. And it better be in the right place or it won't run! And now there's at least one more for B2S. :Ohh:
Well ... Trigon will be worth it when it's done. Can't WAIT to see what it looks like in the backglass! It will be even better when I can play it on my setup. Looking forward to it! :Green:

You're right about that. 3 scripts, each about 1500 lines and word wrap was NOT working correctly, so it was fun at first. :Banghead: Also it wouldn't show any script changes unless I saved the change and sometimes exited. In vp you can make a change and it will affect the game immediately. No idea why notepad doesn't work that way.

Try NotePad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/) ... don't leave home without it! :Green:
PS: The backglass is really cool! Love the rotating lights around the edge, kinda like Xenon. Gonna really enjoy this table full screen with the backglass!
