new posts area or listings

every time I log in I must do a search and destroy for any new posts
as they are not listed as such anywhere on the front page!
Can you make it so that they are visible somehow each new time I log on?
it would make my life so a little less hectic...

Actually, now that I think about it, you can scroll on the right and look for anything thats says "today". ;D

I did notice today that all new posts show up in gold on the front page the area anyhow
 I still must check on each posting for 'new' stuff
 still it is a step in the right direction

Is there the possibility to get notifications of new posts in threads where I already posted?
I can't find the setting known from other forums.

On the front page at the bottom are all new posts. (Home page). For notifications, go to your profile (click on your name). Modify Profile- Notifications. There are checkboxes at the top and topics below that to subscribe to.

Ok, I didn't notice the new posts at the bottom before. Thanks.

But the notifications don't seem to work. I just checked the settings
(they are still the default settings, I think), notifications are enabled,
but I don't get any. It would be helpful to find ones owns posts and
replies to them without to search the whole forum/subforums. When
there's more traffic here it's probably impossible to remember and
and find them.

Just an idea and not a very very urgent need.

Do I have to enable notifications on each topic, although I have notifications generally enabled at all?
