Maybe I'll sue for non-support.....
« on: December 28, 2013, 01:36:02 AM »
So, Microsoft is withdrawing support for XP in just over three months. What do you think the chances are that some third-party entities will pick up the slack?

Or, have they already, and just neglected to pat me on the back and say, "Now, now.....everything will be okay....."

I kind of doubt it myself. XP was/is still very popular, and I am still a fan of XP. But the big thing to me is the ram limitation. The main reason I went to 7 is the fact that I could max my ram if I wanted to (32g). In fact, I only have 16g, but given the limitations of XP, it would only be 3 or 4. But I've finally gotten used to 7. Now moving from 7.....

Heh! Maybe we should just port VP to Linux and run everything for free, directly supported by the VP community. There's an idea ...
